Saratoga Special Stakes (G2) winner Henny Hughes will join the
Maktoum family’s Godolphin Racing stable with trainer Saeed bin
Suroor this winter in Dubai.
Kiaran McLaughlin, who trained Henny Hughes leading up to his
second-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), said the
son of Hennessy is approximately one week into a 30-day stint in
quarantine at Payson Park in Florida.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum purchased Henny Hughes
from Gulf Coast Farms and Martin Cherry after he won the Tremont
Stakes by 15 lengths on July 4 at Belmont Park.
